This hardly even qualifies as a “recipe,” but we make it at least twice a week and it’s a hit for everyone.
1 large glass jar of Delux Pinto Beans, drain off only a little of the liquid.
2 tbsp butter
Melt the butter in a pan on the stovetop. Mash all the other ingredients in once the butter has melted, tasting as you add the spices and salt. (I find that the more, the merrier.) Let it simmer until it’s as thick as you want it to be. Great on quesadillas, over rice, in tacos, as a dip for chips, or to make bean burritos. Can’t go wrong. You can also melt a little cheddar cheese in, but I find that to be overkill if I plan to use it in a meal that I’ll be using cheese in.
